I'm no car guru, but I know it's best to ask around for recommendations for car repairs. I got quoted at 900$ job at a local OC mechanic and I decide to come here to get a second opinion. The employee straight up told me that some places  cheat their customers by up selling them. What I took in for a major repair, I walked out with a simple oil change. My wallet and I are pretty happy. Thank you Toy Shop! 

Seriously no BS just straight to the point service. They'll tell you if you need to change something or if you can wait.

It's taken me 2 years to write this review, but clearly I've been coming back because they are the best in town. I now live 10 miles from the shop and will go out of my way to keep them servicing my vehicle. 

I love that I can message them via Yelp and they will setup an appointment immediately. They are also the most trusted and honest mechanics I have ever encountered. They are experts in Toyota knowledge and have taken great care and given me the best advice for my plug in Prius. 

I highly recommend to trust your vehicle with these guys. They are worth the money to feel secure your car is taken care of!

After calling my usual mechanic as well as 4 others locally, and being quoted what i thought were rather high prices for fluid changes, i found the toy shop on line and man i couldn't be happier, they work only on Toyota's and so they knew exactly what I needed anx were half the cost. The other shops were vague and left an opening to charge me more money. They quoted me a price and stuck to it, as well as finding a few other minor things that they did for free but just needed to be done, jarred was amazing to say the least, i cant say enough good things about jarred and the toy shop, all of my Toyota's will be going to them for now on!

I have been an owner of various Toyota vehicles over the past 15 years. Robert and the team handled my 2002 Toyota Sienna with great ease. The brake service was reasonably priced and although the repair took a day and over night stay, the repair was well worth the wait. Although this already seems like a great review, there is more. Upon completion I was told that another item was found to be faulty and bad, which was awesome because they went beyond my repair focus and covered other areas. Areas beyond my expectations and surely I will be bringing back my van for more service. Oh yes one more thing, they checked the ABS systems and tire pressure lights and didn't even charge me. Not like other local service sites. I highly recommend this shop.

Robert is the best. Found him on Google after searching for a Toyota mechanic in Southern California. He is well worth the 20 mile drive for me to have my 4runner worked on. Very fair labor rate and will work with you if you can't afford something. Good guy. Take your Toyota, Lexus, or Scion to him.
